Being a woman is something to celebrate! More than 1,500 participants joined us in the city’s largest women’s second-line parade to STEP UP to stop domestic violence. Dozens of iconic Krewes and bands to lead the parade through the Vieux Carré to shine a light on domestic violence in the most New Orleans way possible—with our blinking boas, bras, beads and neon attire. You didn’t have to be a woman to attend. You just needed to be ready to celebrate all the wonderful divas, ladies, and gals of the world.
